Τα φετινά Screen Actors Guild Awards πραγματοποιήθηκαν το βράδυ της Κυριακής 27 Φεβρουαρίου στη Barker Hanger της Σάντα Μόνικα στην Καλιφόρνια και ανέδειξαν σε 15 κατηγορίες τις καλύτερες ερμηνείες σε τηλεόραση, κινηματογράφο και πλατφόρμες streaming.
Ο μεγάλος νικητής της 28ης τελετής των Sag Awards ήταν το CODA, καθώς όχι μόνο κέρδισε στην κατηγορία καλύτερης ταινίας, αλλά έγραψε ιστορία ως το πρώτο έργο με κωφό cast που πήρε αυτή τη διάκριση.
Ενώ ο Will Smith παρέλαβε συγκινημένος το βραβείο Α’ Ανδρικού Ρόλου για την ερμηνεία του στην ταινία King Richard, ενώ το βραβείο για το Α’ Γυναικείο Ρόλο πήρε η Jessica Chastain για το The Eyes of Tammy Faye.
